The Williamsburg Trail

It is spring in the year 202-AI! You're a Jewish Young Professional living in Brighton Beach, you play in a band, life is good. One fine morning you get wonderful news--a new brand of Matzah just hit the shelves, just in time for Passover! 

Macguffin Matzah bills itself as "crispy, crunchy, not very nutritious, not very delicious, but the very best Matzah can be!"...and is exclusive to stores in Hasidic Williamsburg, quite far away from where you live!

You take a day off from work to go Passover shopping, but you wake up the next day to astonishing news! Gremlins have taken over the subway, the buses, the ride-shares, and virtually every vehicle around! And they're wreaking havoc on all of New York City!

Passover stops for no one, however, so together with one of your four bandmates you must walk all the way from Brighton Beach to Hasidic Williamsburg on the ever-so-perilous "Williamsburg Trail"! It'll be a hike that requires preparation, so pack your smartphone, snacks, water, umbrellas, a musical instrument and anything else you think you might need! 

Then, upon arriving to Williamsburg, you must acquire as much of that beloved Macguffin Matzah to make your Passover one for the books! 

The Williamsburg Trail awaits, dear traveler! 

- Explore real-life neighborhoods in Brooklyn and the quirky characters that inhabit them! Flatbush, Crown Heights, Park Slope and more! 

- Talk to characters to learn about them, trade with them or otherwise get advice on how to deal with the gremlin invasion!

- Pick one of your four bandmates as a companion! Will you choose Mona the lead singer, Sapphire the manager, Warren the guitarist or Zdeněk the drummer?  Each one has a different bonus that will help you on the trail!

- Unlike other completely unrelated "Trail" games, there is no hunting on the Williamsburg Trail, but you can take cute pictures of the gremlins and get your dopamine up! Dopamine helps you endure the trail better, so take those cute gremlin pics and get sharing them on social media!

- Bring a musical instrument to make some money while on the trail! Pick a banjo, mandolin, ocarina or harmonica! Stop in the street to play and make money! Very realistic, musical and fun!

- Original soundtrack, featuring some traditional Jewish tunes, composed and arranged by Jared Gimbel!

- Last and certainly not least, NO dying of dysentery or cholera on the Williamsburg Trail! Praise the Lord for modern medicine!
